It's been awhile since you heard from me. My son Jesse took your class this last February. Well it took awhile to see the results but I have to say they were great. He finally received the citizenship award in March, then again in April and May which made him really happy because he's been trying to get that for years. He has been able to finish his tests in one day and in most cases in the allotted time when it used to take two or more days. He scored the top grade in class on two social studies tests; each test was a closed book test. He is also staying on task like all the other kids. He still zones out but he is able to get himself back on track in a matter of minutes.
And here is the most amazing thing; Jesse got Student of the Month in May!! His teachers are totally amazed and thrilled with his improvement. His writing went from a C- to a C+, he now finds it easier to write, and he actually wrote a page and a half in 2 hours instead of 3 to 4 days. All of his other grades are solid B's.
I'm just so happy to see Jesse doing so well. I know Jesse is happy with it too. We both know there's still a ways to go but are looking forward to 7th grade next year. We are still working with the kosh balls and clay words and what we call the 10 minute brain train (reading). I want to thank you so much for your work with Jesse it has made all the difference in the world.
I was hoping to be able to come in for a quick refresher before he starts school in the fall, is that an option? Just to keep him on the right track. Let me know. And thanks again. Have a nice summer.
